If you plead guilty to statutory rape and then the DA dropped it to a misdemeanor then we can't touch you. We go by the charge you plead guilty to, not the final disposition, because in the eyes of the Army you admitted to the original charge. If the DA dropped it down and you plead guilty to the lesser charge then we may be able to work with you. You would need to show a recruiter your court documents before he can even begin to tell you if you have a shot.

Speak with the recruiter about this! Even if it causes a problem, you can still get in with a waiver!

as long as the crimes were not felonies and you are not on probation at the time you sign the paperwork then you should be able to enlist.

you shouldnt of gotten arrested for that...it shouldnt interfere too much with your enlistment because it was so minor..
