I believe the absolute best movie ever made is "The Last of the Mohicans"... What is your choice, and why?
This movie has drama, romance, cinematography, acting, story line, and intense emotional involvement. Avatar 3D is a wonderful movie, magical and spectacular, but it did not engage me in the way Mohicans did. None of the hundreds or thousands of movies I've seen have.

Well normally when I watch a movie it will be to relax and lay down, enjoy some popcorn. I try to stay away from the movies that will make me think on deep levels (I know that sounds bad, but hey) So my favorite movie is "Robin Hood:Men in Tights" I can quote that movie all the way through. I am also not a serious person and love to make people laugh and munch on some laughter myself, so that's why I chose that movie.

CABIRIA an Italian movie made in 1914 directed by Giovanni Pastrone is a little long but it was the first art film it inspired a lot of filmmakers and was the basis of what was later called monumental films (Ben-Hur, Cleopatra)

I honestly did not enjoy The Last of the Mohicans, but some of my favorites are Saving Private Ryan, Casablanca, and Inglourious Basterds.

Die Hard.
It has EVERYTHING. Drama, suspense, romance, action, comedy... It's even a Christmas movie. I absolutely love the film, and I never get bored watching it. Long live John McClane!
