how do you clean blood of carpet?

If you are not yanking our chain.....you really need to get rid of the carpet as soon as possible ! It is going to start stinking and will sink thru to the sub-floor. Probably clean the floor with a bleach solution is in order but, get rid of the carpet

Resolve seems to work alright. Cheap, Over the counter, and if you get the right type of cannister, you may even get the scrubber built right onto the can. Oxy Clean may take a few applications but also works okay. I actually own a SPOT BOT by Bissell. I set it on the stain, turn the thing on and walk away. I hear Walmart has a nice return policy. :) Then again, we love our carpet cleaning machine so we decided to keep it afterall. Basically the old suggestions of club soda still work well too. IN the long run, always test a small area thats hidden to make sure the color of the carpet doesn't fade too.... Good luck!
