Why do liberals yearn for life in Europe but stop short of migrating there?

The fact that they lie about every thing may have something to do with it. The other country's may be smart enough to not give them free stuff like here. I know Mexico would not.

Choose a country in Europe you'd like to live in. Then research how you go about doing so. You will be sorely disappointed. It's an extremely long and difficult process. You pretty much have to have someone over here guaranteeing they will give you a job when you arrive.

I hate how so many Americans ask questions like this one. As though anyone who wants to live in Europe can just pick up their stuff and we'll roll out the red carpet.

People said the same thing about African Americans and moving back to African during the Civil Rights Era when they "created so much unplesantness" to get simple rights White people were trying to deny them. It was ridiculous then, and still is now. These Liberals are merely comparing European Healthcare systems to the proposed plans for the US's because we don't have one right now which is very embarrassing because as a nation we are fighting and killing people in the Middle East because they are denied basic rights like we all do here....

Personally I would be happy if all politicians were to leave. As for those of you who said "Conservatives only care about themselves, while Liberals care for those less fortunate"....talk about one of most stupid things I have ever heard. Both sides of the aisle only care about two things, getting re-elected, and power, nothing else matters. The "less fortunate", what a crock. Poverty is caused by two things, laziness (the unwillingness to work towards a better life), and ignorance (the unwillingness to educate oneself). There are been far too many people of any race you can think of who have worked hard, and educated themselves into better lives than they started with.

What makes you think we let any old American rift raft into the European Union?

We don't. Getting citizenship of an European Union country is a lot harder than getting citizenship in the US.

What baffles me is you think they could just move here.

Most European countries have a better overall quality of life than the US. They have better health care, less poverty, and less crime. However, most liberals would rather try to make America better than to run on out on it or just to pretend the problems don't exist.

The main difference between liberals and conservatives is that conservatives are only interested in their own well being and liberals are interested in the well being of the less fortunate.

I am Liberal and I have never considered moving. I heard a bunch of Cons say they would move if Obama won the election but they are still here. What about that?
