If these Republicans get President Grant removed from the $50 bill and get Reagan's portrait on it instead?

What's going to stop LIberals from drawing little Hitler mustaches on as many bills as they can?

Update:

Yes, Locutus, this presupposes that they will actually be caught.

Update 2:

Oh, and I have to admit that I am somewhat prejudiced: I am related by marriage to President Grant.

Once again, why are we always trying to replace somebody with one currency picture with Reagan.

First it was FDR, now Grant.

    - Washington is on the dollar AND the quarter.

    - Lincoln is on the five AND the penny.

    - Jefferson is on the two AND the nickel.

FDR beat the depression and World War II; Grant won the civil war (ahh...that's probably it).

Now, I'm no fan of Reagan but put him on one of the pieces that somebody is on two (except the penny, then we'd NEVER get rid of the stupid penny, because conservatives would always be bitching.)

As far as the little Hitler mustache, I have more valuable things to do with my time than draw on money!

But you are putting these nitpicking things together with the other things he has done and he did not do this within one year. Obama has pushed so much through with a democratic congress. How much of this was passed with a Republican congress? And passed in the same year??

Feel free too and I hope that you're caught!

Whoever mutilates, cuts, defaces, disfigures, or perforates, or

unites or cements together, or does any other thing to any bank

bill, draft, note, or other evidence of debt issued by any national

banking association, or Federal Reserve bank, or the Federal

Reserve System, with intent to render such bank bill, draft, note,

or other evidence of debt unfit to be reissued, shall be fined

under this title or imprisoned not more than six months, or both.

That's the law. Of course the law only matters when it's on your side?

It's not going to happen anyway,so why worry about it. Besides if anyone needs little Hitler Mustaches drawn on his image,it's that little Marxist in Chief up in the White House right now.And if Carter ends up on a Bill,we should all be drawing Dunce caps on him.

Locutus-No one enforces that, ever.I've been marking up Bills for decades.Used to scratch out all the In God we Trust motto's on them. The money just stays out there all marked up,and gets replaced as normal.Ive seen Bills with so much marking on them it was ridiculous, and they stay out there.

I bet people will start pushing to have Obama put on money before his first term is even up. Even if he's a complete flop. Just watch.

I don't care who's portrait is on our money as long as it retains it's worth. I love currency.
