If youre sent to jail, then break out to successfully prove your innocence, what happens to you?

So like, say I was arrested for the rape and murder of blah blah blah, and sent to prison. I break out of prison, and prove my innocence, and succeed. Am I sent back to jail?

lol - well, if TV and movies have taught us nothing else - and they haven't - it's that you'd get off scot free.

You'd be back in jail before you "proved" anything.

It looks good in the movies, but that doesn't have anything to do with reality. As a convicted murderer and rapist, the cops would be OK to shoot you if you tried to run. When they did find you, you would be dragged off in chains back to prison, into a solitary cell. Hard to prove anything from inside an 8 foot steel cube.

Yes you would go back to jail and they would make you eat dog feces everyday.

Just serve your time for the escape and you can go home
