End of Days? A question for Christians.?

Out of curiosity, how many Christians feel or believe that we are close, undetermined but close, to the final end time spoke of in the Bible?

If you are not Christian, just keep moving along, nothing to see here, keep moving along...

The Bible teaches what things will be during the last days... according to that we are near. I can't say how many years, etc. I can only go by the spiritual signs given.

We are very close to the end of the times that we live in. Not that all will be destroyed but that

those deemed to be wicked by means of God's righteous judgement of execution will no longer

be living. Man was placed here for a purpose. Part of that purpose was allowed to be fulfilled when

God did not destroy Adam and Eve right there in the Garden of Eden when they sinned. We are

from them. Had they been destroyed, we ourselves would not have ever been. Man was told to

subdue the earth which was to be made into a worldwide earthly paradise like the Garden of Eden filled

with perfect living people which we are not but will by the promises of God to his obedient servants

soon be perfect and have everlasting life as we give praise to the giver of life, Almighty God Jehovah

in his promised earthly kingdom on earth.

The gauge of how close we are is determined by prophecy. What prophecies have to be fulfilled prior to the events described to begin?

The last, most significant event required by prophecy is the reestablishment of Israel as a nation, which occurred in 1948.

On the prophetic calendar, the rapture would be next (assuming that the rapture is to occur, which is somewhat controversial among different Christian denominations.) Nevertheless, since 1948, it could begin any time.

Blessings to all of God people. No one really knows, but we can look at the signs, the seasons, the weather condition, sickness, earthquakes, Wars, Hated,Starvation in some of the nations etc according to the Bible these are some of the signs. a worse time, a better time

Most people of the world always are hoping for a better day, a time when peace will reign throughout the earth, forevermore. This time is coming, beginning with the Millennium, and being fulfilled, ultimately, in the new Creation (see old and new Creations).

Before that can happen, however, a time of great sorrow and suffering first must come to pass on the earth. Untold billions will die. But those who survive can have the assurance that God, through the Power of Jesus and the Holy Spirit, will be with them through the most difficult of times (see repentance, endurance, and overcoming), if they put their faith in Him: the One true God. Even if they are killed, they can have the guarantee of eternal salvation, if they have placed their faith and trust in Jesus Christ, the Son of God, who died for the sins of the world and was raised from death on our behalf.

Praise be to the Lord Jesus for His infinite grace and mercy, and especially for the better world to come! He is “Faithful and True” (Revelation 19:11a); His name is the “Word of God” (19:13b). And He has exclaimed,

I have told you these things, so that in me you may have peace. In this world you will have trouble. But take heart! I have overcome the world. (John 16:33).

    Peace to all.

The other people who responded are right....in lots of Paul's letters, he said the day is very close....but here we still are. It might be close, might not. Nobody will know the day or the hour...it will be like a thief in the night. Verses in the Bible say that we wont even see it coming.

No big deal so were now living in the last days were mankind must soon step down and surrender all governmental authority to God. That simply means that God will probably reap far less in this generation of misfits, then in all the previous generations combined.

It's really no big deal, unless you happen to be one of those super wealthy cowards who's planning to hide in an multibillion-dollar underground bunker somewhere, ""foolishly thinking that God! (when judging the world) Can't find you?""

  • End-Time prophecy is being fulfilled an an astounding rate of speed today. We are close. How close? No one really knows. But we are witnessing the final captivity of Israel coming like a freight train and we are standing on the tracks too stupified to move.

The whole concept of the end coming "like a thief in the night" tends to go right over the heads of the evangelical crowd.
