Why did Rep. Eric Massa actually resign and say he was pressured by the Dems?

He didn't have to resign, he could have stayed. Is it because once he resigns the ethics charges are dropped and there is no investigation?

Something is just not right with his statements. What do you think?

    Yep....no investigation.

Resignation means that there is no investigation. To me, Massa, if he had nothing to hide, should have called Pelosi's bluff.

I'm thinking, he resigned because he was pressured by the Dems, and he was disgusted by the blatant treasonous hypocrisy and fraud of the lying machine the Democrat party has become.

    Call it a hunch.

i agree something is strange about the timing ... time may tell ... i think the White House and Massa are playing alpha dog with dirt on each other.
