Nothing; neither word actually exists in French either as written or as separate words ("le mar"/"la mar")

Neither "la mar" nor "le mar" means anything.

You may be thinking of "la mer" which means "the sea" in French.

Nothing really. We seperate the la and le in frence so those words are la mar and le mar. It means 'The Mar'
