What is the greatest NFL franchise?
Even though I'm a Chicagoan and I love my Bears, I'm going to have to say the Green Bay Packers is the best franchise in the history of the NFL.
For everyone talking about the Steelers' 6 super bowl rings, the Packers have 3, with a total of 12 league championships.

Without a doubt the Green Bay Packers before the 60's they absolutely ruled, Vince Lombardy is the Bear Bryant of Pros.

i would say it is a close race between 3 teams
The Steelers. They have 6 SB wins and their owner has changed football dramatically over the years. They are known for building a great defense year in and year out and have very few off field issues
The cowboys. The are winners of 5 SB's and have been to the most of any team. Jerry Jones though many hate him is a smart Business man. They had a few down years in the late 80's otherwise they are always in the playoff hunt.
The 49ers. Winners of 5 SB's. This team brought the West Coast Offense to the NFL. They had arguably two of the greatest players ever to play the game in Jerry Rice and Joe Montana. With few off field issues they have always been a model franchise.
yes the NFL did start prior to the SB. But until the merger it was a smaller league. Not the same level of compitetion. thats the reason those previous titles dont count the same as a SB win does.
Its the same as college football most people dont think of Yale and Harvard as football powerhouses. But they do hold the most "national" titles. Back in the early 1900's they were one of the few teams playing.

It must be the Packers. Especially if were going by championships, The Pack has 12 titles. Hence the name Title town
Sorry you poor steeler fans. 6 is not enough here

I'm a Steelers fan so since the Merger that's my pick. If you want to talk about since the inception of the NFL then yeah it probably is Green Bay, after all I can't deny how bad my team was before the 70s.

The NFL did not start with the first Super Bowl, people! It just so happens that the Packers have way more titles than the Steelers. The Steelers absolutely SUCKED in the pre-Super Bowl decades.
Packers.

Pittsburgh Steelers I have to say
They're consistently good and have the most Super Bowl titles.
I would say the Dallas Cowboys are a very close 2nd because they've had the most Super Bowl appearances and are only 1 behind the Steelers.
I'm a Colts fan

It's obviously the Dallas Cowboys. Almost every year they're in contention not to mention they have the best stadium and the most money. They're really like the Yankees of Football except that the NFL has a salary cap so Jerry Jones can't go on a shopping spree
