What 2 cornerbacks would you have in your tandem?
If you were able to create any cornerback tandem FROM TODAY'S PLAYERS, who would be in it? Personally I would have the Cromarties as my cornerback tandem. Both Dominique Rodgers-Cromartie and Antonio Cromartie are athletic freaks and probably the most athletic corners in the league. Antonio would cover the big receivers like Brandon Marshall, Sidney Rice, and Calvin Johnson. Dominique could cover the fast receivers like DeSean Jackson, Mike Wallace, Percy Harvin, and Johnny Knox. Both of the Cromarties are tall, fast, can jump high, make spectacular catches, and can return the ball. Who would you have?
Try to be more creative than just combining 2 of the top 5 corners (Darrell Revis, Nnamdi Asomugha, Charles Woodson, Champ Bailey, and Asante Samuel).

18 AnswersFootball (American)1 decade agoGreen Bay's 12 NFL Titles or Pittsburgh's 6 Super Bowl Titles?
Most of the hype leading up to this Super Bowl is talking about how the Pittsburgh Steelers have the most Super Bowl championships at 6 and they are looking for their record 7th Vincent T. Lombardi trophy. Why won't anyone acknowledge the fact that the Green Bay Packers have the most overall NFL Championships at 12 and they are looking for their record 13th? The Super Bowl has only been around since the 1966 season, the NFL has been around since 1920. The Pack has twice as many championships and people will only bring up the 3 Super Bowl titles. In my opinion, that's an insult to the NFL's history from 1920-1965. Another example is my favorite team, the Chicago Bears. They are the 2nd most successful team in the league with 9 NFL championships. However, if the Bears would've made it to the Super Bowl, only the 1985 Super Bowl championship season would've been acknowledged. That doesn't sound very successful to young fans who don't know of the league's history.
I guess the real question is: Who do you consider the most decorated team in the NFL? Packers or Steelers?
BQ: Why do you think no one acknowledges the overall NFL championships instead of just Super Bowl victories?

4. New York Jets vs Green Bay Packers (Green Bowl)
13 AnswersFootball (American)1 decade agoHow would you grade the Bears' performance vs the Raiders?
This is going out to all my fellow Bears fans. How would grade them based on their performance against the Raiders last night. I'm only focusing on the starters during the first half. I'm not concerned with the backups. I would give them a B- or C+ to be honest. There were times when they played absolutely beautifully, but there were times when they made me question why bother sticking up for them. They started off bad but, ironically, picked it up after Urlacher left. Overall I believe it was a good game. My hat's off to the Raiders, they were much better than I expected.
So what grade would you give Da Bears' performance (only the first half with the starters)?
1 AnswerFootball (American)1 decade agoAdrian Peterson reminds you of which running back?
Okay so last week I was watching NFL Total Access and you know the went All Access with the Vikings and went behind the scenes and showed Adrian Peterson during film study and him practicing. But before part one of the story, they showed a video of Adrian Peterson and all of the great RBs such as Jim Brown, Walter Payton, Gale Sayers, Barry Sanders, Eric Dickerson, and Emmitt Smith. The video was as if he was a combination of all of them as he was shown using their moves and having their abilities. I'm asking you, which of these backs does Adrian Peterson remind you the most of?

8 AnswersFootball (American)1 decade agoDevin Hester: Cornerback or Wide Receiver?
We all know of the Chicago Bears' decision to convert cornerback/return specialist Devin Hester to wide receiver prior to the 2007 season. This decision most likely ruined his return abilities a year later. Also he hasn't shown that he can be an elite receiver, though he's a good one. What I want to know is, what if they would've kept him at cornerback? If he was good enough to get drafted in the 2nd round as a cornerback, why switch him? I didn't watch him in college so I need you guys to tell me whether he was a good corner or not. Would he had been better off trying to follow in the footsteps of his mentor, Deion Sanders?
