Is global warming actually global cooling. It seems like everyone supporting global warming will say yes.?
Why dont they call it global cooling? Was this theory meant for Gore and others to cash in on a ridiculous idea?

Depending what time scale you use, the planet does seem to be cooling. It began warming about 11,000 years ago at the end of the Holocene and hit a maximum about 8,000 years ago, since when it has been cooling.
That is to say, there is a reasonable chance that we are headed for another glacial period and so 2,000 years from now the temperature will be markedly cooler. However the past few hundred years suggest a warming trend so there is also a chance that it will get warmer first before a prolonged cool period, or possibly just get warmer - we are after all in an ice age.

In a way global warming can be global cooling. Yes! If the theory of global warming does exist then there will be worldwide climate change. Most people think global warming will cause ...well the whole world to become hot. This is true for some regions but not others. For example if the earth warms through global warming it will melt a lot of ice from Greenland and Antarctica. This ice will mess up the waters properties. For example the gulf stream's current might stop or even reverse if all the water from greenland poured into it. If you look at England on a global map you will see it is close to the same latitude as Siberia. Then why is England so warm? The reason England is so warm is because the water from the equator around the Caribbean is pushed up to the British Isles. This water warms England and that area. Therefor it is warmed year around and not cold like Siberia. But if the gulf streamed stopped then England would slowly start to become more and more cold because of its latitude. So Global warming heats up earth, Greenland ice starts to melt cause disruption in the gulf stream, gulf stream slows or even stops, England becomes cold like Siberia. Global warming can in our lifetimes make places colder instead of warmer, England and the British isles being one example. Hope I could Help.

Where are you getting the idea that the globe is cooling? If you are going by your own backyard, you should know that in my backyard today it was 20 F above the normal for this time of year. But of course that means nothing since I do know the definition of "global".

They're hedging their bets. They don't say "global warming" anymore - now it's "climate change" - they have no clue what's going to happen and so they've eliminated accountability for their predictions - now no matter WHAT happens, it's a change, therefore it's "climate change" and that makes them right.

"What we would desire to continuously be accomplishing is the equilibrium between the two" this could be very puzzling to do, seeing as aerosols basically have an atmospheric existence of at maximum some many years, on the same time as CO2 has an atmospheric existence of as much as various hundred years, with some (very few) molecules lasting as much as various thousand. "if the dimensions is tipped on the warming edge, we must be ending like Venus ( a planet with deadly greenhouse result and closer to the solar )" ought to we please provide up evaluating the climate of Venus to Earth's climate? You already stated one distinction between the two planets (Venus being closer to the solar), shall we glance at some extra: Earth: a million AU Magnetic field a million satellite tv for pc Orbital era 365.256366 days Sidereal rotation era 0.997258 d challenge-free orbital velocity 29.783 km/s Axial tilt 23.439281° Inclination Reference (0) 7.25° to solar’s equator floor tension one hundred and one.3 kPa (MSL) Water clouds seventy 8.08% Nitrogen (N2) 20.ninety 5% Oxygen (O2) 0.ninety 3% Argon 0.038% Carbon dioxide hint water vapor (varies with climate) Venus: .7 AU No magnetic field No satellite tv for pc Orbital era 224.70069 day Sidereal rotation era ?243.0185 day Synodic era 583.ninety two days challenge-free orbital velocity 35.02 km/s Axial tilt 177.36° Inclination 3.39471° 3.86° to solar’s equator floor tension 9.3 MPa Sulphur clouds ~ninety six.5% Carbon dioxide ~3.5% Nitrogen .0.5% Sulfur dioxide .007% Argon .002% Water vapor .0017% Carbon monoxide .0012% Helium .0007% Neon hint Carbonyl sulfide hint Hydrogen chloride hint Hydrogen fluoride And Venus' environment is around ninety situations extra super than ours. there isn't any actual way we ought to finally end up like Venus (or Mars). "and a great style of of my professors say in the mean time , international warming is extra like a political thought than a actual scientifically shown one." Theories won't be able to be shown, and anthropogenic international warming is an thought, yet your professors are properly suited in asserting that AGW is in general political at present. Too many holes interior the thought and too many uncertainties with climate frequently. greater CO2 would desire to reason some warming, how plenty isn't generic.

Actually, Al Gore is using the term global climate change more and global warming less. Global climate change covers both cooling and warming. So to answer your question, yes. Global warming supporters will use everything that supports AGW, and deny everything else.
Was this theory meant for Gore and others to cash in on a ridiculous idea?
Yes, it's about money and control. That is what politics are always about.

In general the proper way to refer is "climate change". And have no doubt with 6 billion plus of us here, pumping millions of barrels of burnt oil into the air everyday it would have to have some effect.

No. When the temperature goes UP, that is warming. When the temperature goes DOWN, that is cooling. When the temperature goes down in your neck of the woods, that is called weather...although you could call it your neck of the woods cooling, I guess. When the temperature goes up all over the planet, that is called global warming. Or climate change, take your pick.

Global warming isn't real...most people would say it is, but it hasn't happened because of our use of automobiles, planes, factories, etc., it's been happening over a course of millions of years - practically since the world was created. The Sun's constant shine on Earth has taken it's toll - the heat is starting to melt ice caps during summer, then re-freezing during winter, so we're right back were we started. People are using Global Warming as an excuse to scam money out of people, typical American traditions. Even the President's employees and the news have stated Global Warming as a hoax. Take Glenn Beck, for example - he knows what he's talking about! In other words, Global Warming is either (if it was REAL), because after the ice caps melt, they freeze again, causing a chemical reaction within the ice particles to allow the process to start over again: a process that has happened since the beginning of time.

Do you really not know that the last decade was the warmest on record?
Edit: Is ashlynn for real, or just a bad dream? President's employees repeating the "hoax" legend? Glen Beck "knows what he's talking about"? Melting and freezing a chemical reaction that magically reverses itself? <sigh>
