Just for fun...When do you think I will deliver? 37 weeks, 3 cm dilated...3rd baby. :)?
Okay so this is my 3rd baby. With my first I went into labor at 40 weeks 5 days and had her 2 days later. With my son I went into labor at 37 weeks 6 days. I am 37 weeks right now and am just starting to get curious (OF COURSE! LOL! ) Well as og last Monday (36 weeks) I was 1 CM and 0% effaced. My dr. told my DH (because he is training to be a nurse) that he could check me during the week if he wanted and explained everything. Well Shawn checked me last night and I was 2CM dilated. We went on a LONG walk today and when we got home checked me again and said he could have EASILY put 3 fingers in my cervix!!! I have a dr. appt. tomorrow morning so we will see if he was accurate. He said I felt "softer" tonight also. I know it's all a guessing game, but it's fun to guess and think about when the big day will be. It could be tomorrow or 3 weeks from now, but anyways just wondering what you think!
p.s. I am als having stronger BH contractions and pressure, I have been throwing up all day also.

I would say definitely before the end of the week. And yes, having your cervix checked too often can put you into preterm labor. You need to try to keep that baby in as long as you can up until about 39 weeks. Oftentimes babies born in week 37-38 have underdeveloped lungs.

Number one, don't let anybody but your doctor or nurse check to see if you're dilated. Honestly, I can tell you from experience that it will send you into labor. Number two..all pregnancies are different but if you're 3cm I would think that you're going into labor in the next weeks. Congrats!

i became led to at 37 weeks using cholestasis (extreme danger for stillborn) in any case, she had the twine wrapped round her two times very tight and due to that she became interior the NICU for 4 hours yet after that she became interior the nursery and became waiting to be discharged until eventually now i became. If the twine became no longer wrapped round her neck she might have been nice. i became so executed with being pregnant at 37 weeks. i do no longer understand how human beings circulate on for 40 weeks or circulate over 40 weeks. i might die. I actual have lots admire for those mothers. sturdy success! oh my daughter became 6 pounds 9oz and 18.5 inches.

who knows everyone is different... it took me 5 hours to go from 1cm to 3cm and from 3cm to pushin it took me 45 min the i only pushed three times to get my baby out took like five min but i didnt use an epidural had no need for one nobody thought i was actually in labor because i had no pain! doctor said i was 1 in a million!!! good luck to you maybe it will happen tonight ill pray for you though!
