Anyone Else Object to this Meeting?

I hate to, but I must agree with the prior posters. The NRA appears to be running a classic false flag operation. They are seeking to blame an innocent only to keep their own place on the power pecking line.

This act with Reid is another example of being all things to all people. During McDonald v City of Chicago, the NRA did not use its lawyer in Heller v District of Columbia, but the then acting Solicitor General who argued for DC. He sought to go after the Rights and Privileges Clause and not the incorporation under the 14th.

The JPFO,org and The National Gun Owners Assoc --- seem to better understand the concept what an individual right means. Most 2A individuals would accept that Life, property, liberty, speech, religion, are individuals rights and therefore a government cannot select who has such rights a priori.

The NRA tolerates the idea of a permit to own a firearm or to carry one. Would anyone accept a like concept of a permit to life. Say a Pregnant woman would have to obtain a permit to carry a life to term? Or you would have to go to the Sheriffs Office to get a permit to worship at you institution of worship.

Absurd.

Yet, perhaps the NRA long history of accepting the idea of a weapons permit during all those years from 1890 to 1964 in Southern States.

This pisses me off. I can hardly wait until the NRA sends me another request for a donation to do its important work such as wining and dinning Harry Reid and Nancy Pelosi.

I haven't believed the NRA has had gun owners rights as a top priority for a while
