Why is it so hard for people?

to pick a best answer to their questions? Are they that confused or are they just lazy?

I think a lot of people just want to get answers to their questions. Then they go have a beer or watch TV or something. Why should they bother picking a best answer, when they already have their questions answered?

Probably some people don't feel capable of picking a best answer. After all, the reason they asked is that they don't know. Answers often disagree and then they don't know which one to believe.

And I see that a lot of people seem to enjoy posting the same question over and over, or very similar questions. Especially in the areas having to do with politics and religion. They're busier posting questions than reading or judging answers. 8^)

But yes, I've always thought it strange that most of my Best Answers come from voters, not askers.

Hi Bob! You just answered a question I posted about getting a Honda Rebel. Thank you for that! However, I miss-typed my height as 6 feet 7" instead of my actual 5 feet 7". BIG difference.Sorry.

Anyhow, thought I'd offer this thought to YOUR question. Some people I think don't check the box that sends answers back to their inbox, so they likely forget about their question after a few postings. Just a theory. But hey! I'll probably give you a best answer for MY question :) !

A lot of people probably dont even know what the best answer is. someone that asks, "whay doesnt my lights come on" likely doesnt even know what a volt meter is, therefore after they recieve 5 answers on how and where to check for voltages, they are still as confused as they were when they asked the question, and still havent even picked a volt meter up, so they leave the question abandoned without choosing a best answer....

i think most ppl just dont feel like doing it for their own selfish reasons. as long as they get the answer they are looking for, thats all that matters to them.
