Plan B---is it true that 8 birth control pills have the same effect as the Morning After pill?
2 months ago I got off birth control, and yesterday had a slip up. Can I really use a week or so worth of the pills I have left over all at once instead of spending $60 for Plan B?

Which daily birth control pills can be used for emergency contraception worldwide?

Planned Parenthood can get it for you cheap. 1-800-230-PLAN (1-800-230-7526) to find the Planned Parenthood clinic nearest you. If you are underage it will mostly likely be free and it's always confidential.
For 5 to 7 days after sex, you can have a Copper T 380 A IUD (Paragard) put in. Emergency postcoital insertion of the Copper T 380 A IUD (ParaGard) is the most effective currently available postcoital contraceptive.
This site will explain your rights to birth control, pregnancy testing, condoms, emergency contraception (aka, "EC" or the "morning-after pill), HIV and STD testing. http://www.sexetc.org/state
The laws are different in different states, so check this site. It is your right to get sexual and reproductive health care where you feel safe and comfortable, so don’t worry about asking these questions if these questions are important to you.
A suggestion . . . .
Provoke a period when you are due, it can even work if you are a bit late. You can do this by using Vitamin C.
Take 6-12 grams of ascorbic acid - vitamin C a day for 5-10 days. Specifically ascorbic acid. Do not use vitamin C with bioflaviniods or anything that has Rose-hips in it. Look for the cheap generic brands, they are usually the ones that have pure ascorbic acid. Doses consisting of one 500 mg tablet per hour are most common.
The vitamin C -ascorbic acid- works to produce an unfavorable climate within the uterus so that the egg does not implant, or cannot maintain its grip on the uterine wall. By stimulating estrogen, and possibly interfering with progesterone. Thus making it useful as an emergency contraceptive, when taking it before implantation occurs.
Progesterone is needed to prepare the uterus to receive the egg, the uterine lining builds up each month, and if the egg is not fertilized then this is what becomes the menstrual blood, when the lining is shed to prepare for the next cycle.

If you have any questions about it, email me. I have used these methods successfully before. I take 1,000mg every two hours until bleeding commences. You should be waking up every 4 hours and taking your missed doses at night, this ensures that you have a constant level of ascorbic acid in your blood stream. 12grams a day - 1,000mg/1gr every two hours.

DON'T TAKE LOTS OF BIRTH CONTROL PILLS, it is not the same - there are other hormones in most types of birth control medication. The easiest solution for your problem is, instead of having your seven day break, just start the next pack immediately. You will not have a period until the end of the second pack. This is not harmful - it is the same procedure as you would use if you missed a pill during the last seven days of your pack. You may experience some light spotting, but at least you will not have a period.

All the plan b pill is is a huge dose of hormones but you can never be sure how much you are taking, So yes there is probably some truth to that but its not safe to guess and misdose. you could hurt yourself or end up still being pregnant

No. Go to the pharmacy and get Plan B. 60 dollars for Plan B is cheap if you compare how much a child is, or an abortion.
Get the Plan B and do it tomorrow or it will not be effective.
http://www.planbonestep.com/ Ten dollar coupon on the website for Plan B.

That is most definitely not true and potentially very dangerous. Go to your local Planned Parenthood, you can get Plan B and if you really cannot afford to pay for it then they will put you on a donation basis. Meaning if you have $5 then you pay that, if you have $20 pay that. You pay what you can when you can and don't have an actual "balance" due. That's a much better option than putting yourself in danger.
