    California: sunshine, grass, smoke, grilled steaks, frog ponds.

    I haven't been outside CA except for a quick drive through of Nevada, so I'm not sure what the country would smell like. All my life I've lived in the valley here, and these are the usual smells I pick up in my neighborhood. Even in the winter it smells like frog ponds.
