How to Clean Hands after Cutting Hot Peppers?
I've been cooking a lot of spicy foods lately and have been cutting up fresh jalapenos. After I cut them up, even after I've washed my hands with soap and water several times, there is still a VERY spicy residue left on my fingers. Is there any way to remove this?

prevention is the key. gloves are the only thing that will work. i know it doesn't do you any good now, but it will be to your benefit to get some for the next time. just keep washing those hands. sometimes it takes me 3-4 days before all traces are gone.

I know it doesn't help now, but prevention is the best solution. You should buy a pair of rubber gloves especially for cutting hot peppers. It can be very painful if you touch your eyes or (God forbid) intimate areas after handling them, so I would highly recommend this.
For now, just use some washing up liquid and was your hands a lot. Washing up liquid is much better than soap for removing this.

cup your hands together, pour salt in your hand about the size of a quarter add lemon juice it also sometimes help to just add dish soap on top of salt the coarseness of salt acts as exfoliant
