Are the people who constantly hating on Obama the same people who voted for Bush?
I mean, come on, I feel a little over-promised, but I'm so happy McCain didn't win.
I mean SERIOUSLY if McCain died we'd have president PALIN. It'd be like a Disney cartoon horror story: "Mediocre Soccer Mom Is Leader of the Free World!"
Yes, I am assuming that all who voted for McCain also voted for Bush.
PS. If you seriously consider Palin a smart individual, you need to sit in a philosophy and political class.. for like.. a week. Then you'll be like "Oh..... She's... wooooowww.. D:."

Don't forget that BOTH Bush Jr. elections remain in dispute so we will never probably KNOW how many people voted for him. The second one, obviously, he didn't win. Nice having a brother who's the governor of a contested state, huh?
Of course they are the same people. It's all same ol', same ol' though. I think party-affiliation is an affiliation with idiocy at its roots.
Also, a lot of Obama haters are people who have some type of interest in the military industrial complex. McCain might have been able to further expand the wars for them whereas, even though Obama is in bed with the bankers, he isn't going to go as far for the contractors as they want.
P.S. I am taking the thumbs-down as compliments from the haters on here since I obviously ruffled their feathers and they know I am speaking the truth. They are almost like thumbs up really.

A LITTLE over promised....are you kidding me? Obama is the biggest mistake this country ever made. You are apparently not very old if you don't know that. And McCain would have been much better, much much better. And what do you really know about Palin other than what you heard from some liberal reporter on the news? Have you ever seen Alaska on a map and noticed that is spans almost the entire width of the entire USA, it is a huge state, biggest state in the nation and twice the size of Texas - now go see how WELL Palin did as Governor there, she was the best they had in decades, even Alaskan's will tell you that. Palin is a smart lady, liberals are smart as well to keep smearing her in the media, they do that because they are afraid of her, they know she's smart.

Here's the deal. Obama is trying to do some extreme things, and many people are not comfortable with it. He promised a lot, and he isn't really coming through on a whole lot. He's trying to push things through into laws or bills before things can be properly figured out. Personally I do not want to be forced to have health insurance and pay for health insurance that pays for things that I am not alright with, but it is already done and passed. I do not hate Obama, but I did not vote for him and I am not okay with where he is leading our country.
However, apart from that, one thing that you have to understand is that if I am a Republican it is because I believe more in what the Republicans stand for than I do the Democrats. The same goes for Democrats. Therefore whenever someone from the opposite party is in office the other group will always have something against them because they do not have the same set of beliefs. It is nothing unusual, and it will always happen no matter who the last president was.

the other thing you have to consider is that many of the people that hate Obama didn't even vote.
At best, only 40% of those eligible to vote actually voted. So, by sheer statistics, you have to assume that a lot of protestors did not vote at all.

I didn't like Bush, but he was better than the inventor of the internet.
If Obama died, Biden would be president and that would be a "big Fu@%$#% deal".
McCain would have been a hundred times better because he has a history of working across party lines to get things done. Obama did not and now he is not working with Republicans in any way.
I didn't like McCain, but I hate Obama's policies. We are definitely moving in the wrong direction.
I don't like Palin, but how much worse could she have been? 10% unemployment. $1.6 trillion a year deficits. Takeover of GM, student loans, health care, banks....and nothing to show for it! Iran is empowered, North Korea is empowered, Chavez is empowered. Troops still in Iraq, civilian trials for terrorists captured over seas.
I would take Palin's stupid comments over the destructive policies that Obama has put in place.

Sorry to bust your mantra sweetie, but at least Palin has a legitimate history of accomplishments what has Obama accomplished besides convince a bunch of naive empty headed young people to vote him into the presidency

wasnt old enough to vote first time bush was elected, second time i never was given my absentee ballot. (i was in the navy) there was a HUGE controversy about that. a lot of the military didnt get their absentee ballots that time. im not always hating on obama. im just not always praising him no matter what he does... try to keep an objective analytical mindset and you wont be praising him every day either....
