i panic all the time!?

hello everyone. im currently 18 weeks and 5 days and i worry ALL the time, i'm driving my partner nuts lol. i lost a baby last year when i was 27 weeks and now i read into everything... i'm worrying at the moment because i haven't felt the baby move regularly. with my first it was about 20- 21 weeks but i thought you were meant to feel them sooner with you 2nd. I've felt flutters but last night i didn't feel a thing.. i laid down and drank a glass of water and nothing! i heard the heartbeat at 18 weeks 2days and everything was fine. should i worry? is there anything i could do to stop me from worrying? thank you x

Its only normal that you would b worried, this is ur baby were talking about I'm sure u can't help it but worrying causes stress which is never good for babys, relax breath and call ur dr. If u have good insurance or medical then go to the er and they'll search for the heartbeat so u can feel better. I went to the er when I started bleeding @ 12 weeks I got a $300 bill but I didn't know what else to do. I'm 32 weeks now . I hope everything turns out well!

Ah you poor poor thing, I feel for you but the last thing you or baby needs right now is to be stressed out. It's very very unlikely that the same thing would happen twice, right? And the fact that you've felt anything at 18 weeks is a good sign (and it will be just the odd flutter every few days at this stage). Don't worry, It must be so hard but you are past the 1st 12 weeks which is fab. Be Healthy, Eat well and I'm sure you'll be a mum later this year. Congrats ! :)

I know how it is to worry, and sure that it is amplified if you have been through a misscairage. It's completley normal not to feel regular fetal movement at 18 or even 20 weeks, so I would really try not to worry, although I know it's easier said than done. Just try to push things out of your mind until you reach your next OB appt. This might help with each one. I agree with the user that said you should look into getting a fetal doppler. They are kind of expensive, but it might really put your mind at ease (although if you et one, remember that sometimes even nurses have a little trouble finding heartbeats with dopplers). Just try to relax as mich as possible!

It's normal to feel like this if you have lost a baby or not. Even if i say not to worry you will anyway. lol. You may benefit from getting a fetal doppler. Mean's if you are really worried you can listen to the heartbeat anytime. Good Luck x
