Are there people reading this that practice Voodoo?
And is Voodoo the same thing as Santeria? Is it a religion to you, and is it more concerned about what you do or what you believe, or are they evenly mixed? I know very little about it, but I have always been intrigued by it.

Voodoo is not the same thing as Santeria. They both come from the African Traditional Religions practiced in Africa by people who became slaves in the New World, but they come from different traditions and have different European Christian influences.
Voodoo comes from Fon and Ewe beliefs overlaid with French Roman Catholic Christianity, whereas Santeria is primarily from Yoruba beliefs overlaid with Spanish Roman Catholic Christianity.
The Voodoo practiced in Louisiana and elsewhere in the U.S. has additional outside influences from Protestant Christianity and Spiritism.
Voodoo and Santeria are focused more on what the practitioner does than what the practitioner believes. They are, in that respect, orthopraxic religions.
