Any words of comfort for a Steeler fan whose team traded their former Super Bowl MVP for a used water cooler?

Look at the brightside, Plex will soon have a new cellmate. Tone is just stupid. Just read his Twitter page sometime.

Look at the bright side, plenty of NFL greats weren't drafted very high. Tom Brady, as a for instance. While maybe the Steelers won't get that big of a payoff out of a late round pick, they could certainly get some serious talent if they know what to look for, and the Steelers seem to.

Also, look at the bright side, your coach is for SURE classier than the ol' Rex Ryan.

    Look at the bright side!

Now, your team locker room is free of marijuana scent.

You still have 34 year old receiver in Hines Ward and other unproven, young receivers.

At least Ben Roethlisberger is staying put.

Used water cooler is better than nothing.

Your team still has a little chance of winning the division, much less the Super Bowl.

Look at the bright side, the Steelers continue to be the classiest organization in the NFL. Let the Raiders, Cowboys, etc have the thugs. The Steelers will take the Super Bowl trophies instead.

Look at the bright side, I'm a Jets fan we already and we already have Santonio, Braylon, Cromartie, and clown for a coach who can't control his middle finger; with a big chance of getting the biggest Jet-hater ever in Jason Taylor. If they win the Super Bowl this year it'll be worth it, but if not....

look at the bright side you guys have Mike Wallace. Mike Wallace was very impressive despite being what the number 4 wide receiver on the team last year? He will go over 1000 yards next year. Also, it sets an example don't preform bad off the field or you will be kicked off the team.

i individually jumped on the bandwagon... i'm going to confess that. even with the undeniable fact that, the Steelers look like a notably badass group from what I observed on the instant. and every person i understand in school jumped on the bandwagon with the Packers cuz they are nonetheless protecting a grudge for Steelers beating the Seahawks on the Superbowl 5 years in the past. One stupid fool from my classification retains asserting they cheated... BS! Plus, i needed revenge considering the fact that Packers beat the Bears (my mum and dad are from Chicago) so we've been notably pissed approximately that :P even nevertheless I jumped on the bandwagon, i think of i'm right here to stay as a Steelers fan :)

  • Look at the bright side. Michael Turner and Trent Cole were fifth-round picks.

    look at the bright side

the Steelers were going to release him anyway,

he was just suspended for the 1st 4 games this next season for a drug violation, the rumors are that he blew off a required drug test.

He probably would have ended up in Baltimore, if released.
