Help with this girl name :)?

I asked this late last night and got some really good answers, but I wanted to ask while more people were on and get any different answers or opinions :]

Ok here's the deal, me and my boyfriend both really like the name Sarah-Jane....it is the first and only double barrel name I have ever liked, but I love that it's a little unique and that it's two slightly common, vintage, elegant names that go together and make a cute, less common name overall. Now here's the problem, we can't decide whether we want to use it as Sarah-Jane (middle name) (last name), we're worried that may be a little long and that we won't be able to find a middle name that sounds good and flows (although that is my preferred way of using the name), or if we could just do the first name Sarah-Jane and not give her a middle name so it's not as long (it's not like there's a whole lot of Sarah-Jane's in this world with his last name) or if we should do Sarah Jane with it being first and middle. I really want to do Sarah-Jane (middle) (last), I just can't find a middle name I like. I think the only other option we would use is Sarah Jane being the first and middle, but he has a cousin he is very close to (she's like a sister) who's name is Sarah and we wouldn't want her to just be called Sarah, because we are so close to someone with that name, and because we just like Sarah-Jane better...and I'm afraid if we use it as a first and middle, schools and people will try to just call her Sarah.

Ok after the very confusing long explanation haha. Which option do you prefer, I'm aware most people don't like double names, but for our situation, which option do you prefer?

If we did go with Sarah-Jane (middle) (last), what middle names do you suggest? Lots of names would be appreciated. And the last name starts with a Dan- sound, just so it can help you get an idea of what would sound good :)

Sorry guys for the long explanation, I just wanted you to completely understand where I'm coming from ♥

I'm not usually very keen on double-barreled first names, but if you want people to always call your daughter Sarah-Jane, then I think it would be best to use both names as first names - it seems much more likely that they'll use her whole name. I think the name would work best with a shorter middle name, but one that is longer than one syllable - the name will sound very blunt if you use another one syllable name next to Jane. :]

    Suggestions;

    Sarah-Jane Elise.

    Sarah-Jane Lucille.

    Sarah-Jane Camille.

    Sarah-Jane Ruby.

    Sarah-Jane Adele.

    Sarah-Jane Harriet.

    Sarah-Jane Sophia.

    Sarah-Jane Violet.

    Sarah-Jane Natalia.

    Sarah-Jane Ivy.

    Sarah-Jane Madeleine.

    Sarah-Jane Isabelle.

    Sarah-Jane Clara.

    Sarah-Jane Elena.

    Sarah-Jane Melissa.

    Sarah-Jane Charlotte.

    Sarah-Jane Eliza.

    Sarah-Jane Alicia.

    Sarah-Jane Lily.

    Sarah-Jane Marissa.

    Sarah-Jane Matilda.

    Sarah-Jane Lucia.

    Sarah-Jane Abigail.

    Sarah-Jane Elizabeth.

    Sarah-Jane Cassidy.

    Sarah-Jane Helena.

    Sarah-Jane Noelle.

    Sarah-Jane Rosalia.

    Sarah-Jane Willow.

    Sarah-Jane Isla.

    Sarah-Jane Amelia.

    Sarah-Jane Felicia.

    Sarah-Jane Rebecca.

    Sarah-Jane Cameron.

    Sarah-Jane Taylor.

I had a similar situation with my first. I suggest using the name Sarah-Jane as the first name because it sounds like that is ultimately what you want. As far as a middle name goes, it doesn't really make that much of an impact in a persons life if they have a little bit of a long name. She wont be using the whole name too much in her life really so go for a middle name. Maybe a shorter one like Leigh or Marie. Good luck and congrats!

I like the Sarah-Jane (middle) (last name), by then you're going to have to find a short middle name so it sounds not to long! What about...

    May

    Kay

    Lyn

    Marie

And here are some middle names that are a little long but I think sound just as good:

    Christine

    Nicole

    Clara (or Claire)

    Elizabeth

    Hope this helped!

Your right, I know some people who don't like double names, not really sure why! It shouldn't be a problem, though, whatever you like as the name is what you can stick with, if you want. I prefer a double name with no middle name. But if you really do want a middle name too, I would suggest Lily or Lisa. I hope I helped :)
