Why do fans dislike American owners but not Arab owners?

The American owners of Man United & Liverpool have put there clubs into a ridiculous amount of debt and the only arab owners i can think of off the top of my head are the owners of Man City and they are stupid rich. The fans don't care who buys there clubs just as long as there is money going in and the teams is making progress on the pitch.

Well arab owners havn't exactly f**ked things up for bigs clubs just yet. While American owners have tipped United and Liverpool (once 2 of, if not the biggest clubs in the world) right on their head with their massive debt problems.

You don't hear Villa complaining about Randy Lerner. It doesn't matter what nationality they are, but those in charge of Liverpool and United are royally screwing the clubs over and this makes American ownership seem suspect. The Arabs and Russians support the clubs they have bought and don't use them as cash cows.

i like Russian owners better than all of the above.

i also think that he didnt mean his comments in a bad way, i think he just meant that with all the quality barca have in their midfield, and how successful they are, its not looking like changing anytime soon just to fit cesc in.
