My cat has a swollen foot but, no signs of an abscess?

His back left foot is severely swollen and, he walks on three feet. there is no sign of a scratch or missing hair.

I can't figure out what's wrong with him

Take him to a vet, there is obviously something wrong and we cannot diagnose your cat online.

Keep an eye on it,he may have got stung by a bee. My cat came in the other day and the side of his face was completely huge!!! It went away by the next day, but knew he had been stung by one of the moody wasps (Yes I have one indoor only cat and the indoor/outdoor one). If it doesn't start getting better or gets worse, you will probably have to take him to a vet, he could have an injury that you can't see.

A wasp sting or something similar. My cats paw swelled up to the size of a dog when he was stung by a wasp, I was going to take him to te vet first thing AM but when I woke up it was all back to normal! Suggest an appointment at the vet particularly if you live somewhere where there are hornets or snakes etc
