Is it OK to have a baby shower for your second baby if it is a different sex?
We have a 2 year old boy and are now having a girl. I wasn't planning on having a shower, but one of our friends wants to throw me one. I just don't want to seem greedy, so don't know whether to accept or not!

It is not seeming greedy! You are being blessed with another child, even it was the same sex, it is not greedy. If someone wants to throw you one, by all means accept!

YES!! you are havin a girl. sure you have stuff for a boy but now you need girl stuff. Either way you should still celebrate this new life even if its just a "sprinkle" and not a shower... (my friend did that for her 3rd boy)

Back in the day, they say you aren't supposed to... But hey, don't turn away your blessings!!! I say go for it!! It's not like you asked her to throw it!!! Congratulations on the baby girl!!!!!!!!!! Im hoping for a lil girl myslef!!!!! I have a 4 yr old son, and I may be pregnant now!!!!!!
