Your opinion on the anime School Days?

I just finished watching it.

Personally, I found it disgusting. It starts off cute, and then just gets gross, and then morbid. I don't mind dark animes, but this was just...too much. I'm sure I've seen things that are even more sexual and violent, but the way these things were combined...was just too much for me.

Even after the whole anime was over, I couldn't completely hate Makoto's character, even though I wanted to so badly. It's like...he was the most disgusting boy I've ever heard of. But he was so nice, even while he was sleeping with everybody and their dog, that it was hard to hate him. And for me, that's saying a lot because I hate people who are too focused on having sex. That's what makes it so disgusting to me. It's almost like they created these horrible people that could be anyone. It makes me want to throw up when I think about it.

And the ending, when what's-her-name kills him and the other girl cuts her open and sails away with his severed head. Isn't that a bit much? I hate it when animes get overdramatic and push to extremes like that.

Anyway, my point is that I loathed it entirely, and wish I had never watched it. It almost feels like it traumatized me! But now I want to know if there's anyone out there who liked it. Or just what you thought about it. Hopefully, if anyone liked it, they can give me one reason why I shouldn't hate it.

Also, as a bonus question, does anyone know any good school dramas that aren't so...blech? I've already seen Ouran High School Host Club, Clannad, Peach Girl, and School days. And for mangas, I read Hana-Kimi. If you have any that are comical and cute, without all the blood and sex, please let me know. I'm not against blood unless it's in the wrong kind of story (like School Days), and I can handle sex if it doesn't really show or anything. I don't need to see it, is what I mean. I can know that it happened, but I don't want to see not even light fondling, okay?

F-ing hated it sorry but the ending was horrible i wish naruto was there to rasingan her *** and when she died ichigo would use zangetsu on her.

I saw my brother watching it and it kinda have some ecchi stuff but the only part I watch fully is the last episode, cause not much ecchi stuff there.....


And what do I mean by ecchi? It means the anime or manga have some sexual content...

IOnce an all boys school, Seika High, a renowned school full of reckless and filthy students, has recently become a co-ed school. However, with the female population still remaining a minority even after the change over the recent years, Ayuzawa Misaki takes it into her own hands to reform the school and allow a chance for the girls to feel safer in the rough environment.
Training, studying and even becoming the first female student council president of the school, Misaki has gained a reputation, among the male students body as an uptight boy-hating demon dictator and as a shining hope for the teachers and fellow female students. However, despite her tough-as-nails appearance, she secretly works part-time at a maid cafe in order to support her family. Unfortunately, her secret is soon revealed when the somewhat impassive Usui Takumi, a popular boy at school, nonchalantly discovers her in a maid uniform after school.

I thoguht School days was absolutely hilarious, and i loved the ending (note i am a girl)...although i thought one of the other endings form the Visual novel would have been better (like the three some endings) I thoguht it was a grand interpretation of the Visual Novel it was based off of, and still stay semi appropriate.

I really cant give a reason per say why i liked it, i just thought it was an messed up anime version of Degrassi, and found it simply hilarious from beginning to end.

I know a lot of people who really didn't like the anime, so i really don't blame you for not liking it. it's all a matter of taste.

you could Try Hana Yori Dango (boys over flowers), Kimi Ni Todoki and Kare Kano (His and her circumstance)

I saw an episode of School Days (some random episode), and I closed it in an instant. The most disturbing show, period. 
It's nice to see how you've already seen Clannad. :D I love that show
And for a new anime, you could try Angel Beats. It's cool.

I watched this show because I thought it would be decent. It started out good I guess and then I sorta hated Makoto for everything he did with those girls. Also it was discussing! It's sad to know there are people who think it's okay to sleep with someone, date them and then break them off for someone else. And the girls think that he would never do that and then he does and hurts them more. Also, the fact that he was brutally murdered was horrible! Even I felt bad I almost cried! I mean I hate him but still like wow twist ending! And I saw it coming too! I was thinking okay the crazy chick is gonna kill him or the pregnant one might and then it happened. And the crazy ones eyes just creeped me out like I'm gonna have nightmares. And she cut off his head!!?? WTF! Worst anime I've seen. The ending would have been better if I don't know maybe Makoto  wasn't killed and broke it off with the crazy one again and stepped up as a father! Worst anime I've watched I wood not recommend this to anyone watching cute romantic anime. I don't know I just feel bad for Makoto, he didn't even see it coming! Like to think that happens irl and they actually die. THE CRAZY GIRL WAS HOLDING HIS DECAPATATED HEAD ON THE YACHT SAYING THEY WERE FINALLY TOGETHER. messed up dude. Mess up. Messed me up.

I barely finished watching school days, it tripped me out in the end, I felt sick for awhile in my guts, and I was just depressed for a few minutes. Never watching that again @_@ poor Katsuna :(

Oh my gosh. I remember watching that. I started out liking it, thinking it was sweet like you. When I finished...I also felt like I was scarred. I mean who wouldn't? ....I was 10 at the time.
