Is Barack Obama the First US president who smokes marijuana?

George W. Bush smoked marijuana, snorted cocaine, and drank whiskey. Abraham Lincolcn once wrote in a letter that he likes to "sit in his front porch smoking a pipe of a sweet plant" it doesnt say what that plant might be. Bill Clinton smoked marijuana. Some of our founding fathers were alcoholics and smoked mysterious plants, but I cant remember who specifically and if anyone knows for sure what they smoked, could have been anything.

Nope he is the last president that smokes marijuana... the first one was the first president, George Washington... just google it... He had his own cannabis ranch, he smoked it when he had aches in his head or stomach and HEMP (the plant material) was the main resource at the time... to make ropes, paper, builing material, clothes, health food and so on... Even the constitution was written on hemp (and parchment)

Obama was a sequence smoker, yet he initiate quitting! i've got faith he decrease his cigarette intake. i'd desire to assert that left wings attempt to alter too many stuff, yet they are in a position to't discipline themselves. Smoking is a element of the priority interior the society, left says cleanser environment, yet they smoke, they don't recycle, and that they love using their autos ,and so on.

I've never heard that he smoked marijuana, although that would explain his stupid ideas and opinions. I'll bet that a lot of people smoked it right before voting, too! Also, I'm sure that if he does, he would NOT be the first!

Do you mean smokes while president? If so I'd say he's the first. But if you mean ever smoked it, Clinton's got him beat.
