How should I go about doing this (Kinda long)?

Alright, I have been reading a lot of the questions and answerd on here, most of them are depressing so I wdecided I should ask my own. (First to you guys who say you don't like independent women, you are missing out on a lot!)

I work with my best friend, I Like him Probably more than I should And I am almost positive that he does too, It would be great if you could confirm his for me... We men a year and some months ago, Started out as friends, The poor guy got to listen to me complain about my boyfriend at the time, my family problems, how much I hated my job (I am an aircraft hydraulics and pneumatics mechanic) Etc. and he actually listened to everything I said. I always thought that when we were going out to mivies, or to eat we were just going out as friends, and somewhere in the mess, I started to fall for him (Oh no! :) ) I Deployed (Oh yeah, Im in the military too) And when I came home He would text me back and forth literally all day, We hung out a few more times, I went back to his apartment and we watched the lord of the rings... Cuddled on the couch EtC. I really like him, we are going to see a movie tommorow, And I really wanted to know (MY actual question... holy crap) How should I go about letting him know I want to be more than friends. I mean something that is not cliche and annoying :)
