Yes, what is all this about dying for another person's sin?

First, God created the situation for Adam and Eve to sin by placing in the Garden of Eden the tree of knowledge knowing full well (omniscient) that they will be tempted by the serpent. Adam and Eve, before they ate the apple, would be quite dumb to know any better (God did not want Man to become like him). Anyway, the tree of knowledge is also a fake. After Adam and Eve have eaten it, they are no more knowledgeable than God (or is God knowledge limited, too?)

Second, since Jesus knows he is a God and that he will be resurrected and then go to heaven, then that is not too much of a sacrifice; he has nothing to lose. Real sacrifice means losing everything but still going ahead to do it for the good of others. If you know for sure you will go to heaven when you die, will you be afraid to risk dying for another?

Third, he would have serve much better if he had stayed on earth to guide the people instead of just going back to heaven.

How the ransom works may also be illustrated like this: If you supply me your iphone and I holiday it, could or not it's applicable for me to mention "Oh I'm sorry, right here take my historic turn mobile"? No! An iphone is what used to be misplaced, so an iphone is what demands to get replaced. Similarly, whilst Adam and Eve sinned, they now not simplest doomed the whole human race to develop historic and die, in addition they made it unattainable for individuals to benefit from the near, intimate dating with God they at the beginning had. It took a *prefect* guy (Adam) to lose mankind's well status earlier than god, so it took an additional *ultimate* guy (Jesus) to shop for that again. Now, anybody who places religion in Jesus' sacrifice can earn God's approval

He died, because he was foolhardy enough to challenge far superior forces, who ruled the land, and weren't about to tolerate his flagrant challenges to their authority, as his crowds grew larger.

He was after POWER and control........and trying to take it from those that had it.

His plan ultimately failed, and he was crucified for it. His "followers" scattered........trying to sell their stories to people who weren't there and didn't see any of these things, so they coud make up whatever they liked.

In a day and age when there was no tv, or internet, or any way to fact check.......Jewish STORY TELLING, was the entertainment of the day.

Tales of 3 fish feeding thousands, and turning water into wine, and raising zombies from the dead..........were all highly entertaining, and so the stories persisted.

As anyone who has ever played "telephone" before , knows full well, .........the story grew and grew, and GREW, to GOD LIKE Proportions, until finally, they started writing some of them down.

Details fleshed out, some added, some subtracted, to make for a better story......and one day, someone collected all these fables, and but them in a book, and called it a BIBLE-

Behold,......you all know GOD, right????? well, here's the SEQUEL, called, the story of the SON of GOD...........

God, Part 2, if you will.

and sometimes, with GOOD story telling.......the second part is even better than the first.

and sometimes, the next chapter falls flat.........along came the Son of God, part 3........Muhammad!

and then parts 4,5,6 and thru 9 , which were total rubbish......

and then some clown in India, claimed to be Christ, then there was Jim JONES, then some nutbag in Waco Texas.........

yeahhhhhhhhhh, the sequels just get old and silly after a while , don't they?

Kind of like Rocky 5.......ya know? It's all been done and told to death.

Yeah yeah yeah......he gets beat down, but then comes back at the end........

    we've seen it.

    Gimme something NEW!

and after all, isn't the ENTIRE story, all cobbled together from stories of virgin births, and GODS born before HIM? He is born on one pagan Holiday and dies on another? Come on.......the whole thing is a mish mash of countless stories told before his time.

Kind of Like Harry Potter. I mean, magicians and schools of Wizardry were certainly nothing NEW----------yeah, owls.....how original.........

but, ya see, she put all the elements and pieces TOGETHER in a new WAY, that made a NEW story that appealed to alot of people of a certain age group.....even though every detail of the book had been used before and was an ancient cliche.

Kind teachers, Evil teachers, Teachers who come across as evil, but are really on your side.....

the boy is on orphan, of course, I mean, there's not an original thought in the series.

and yet, it was widely successful were exact similiar stories, languished. That's the way it goes.......your book gets good publicity or it doesn't.

Jesus had good PR people......he got lucky.

God saw that too many men were lost to Heaven.

By setting an example of love in Jesus, God calls Men to Himself.

It is believed by many, myself included, That Jesus was a divinely conceived manifestation of God Himself. The son of God. The requirement of justice for sin is taken up personally by The Lord.

By His holy cross, He has redeemed the world.

This is an article of faith. It requires one to trust in The Lord.

And I thought Jesus was the living God, according to Christianity...

    Silly me...

So the Christian God is dead?

(that being the only logical conclusion if he died for us)

To enslave humanity. If this really happened it seems weird I don't like the Bible Gods preoccupation with human and animal sacrifice and cannibalism (eat my flesh drink my blood common communion rite) to appease him, and thats not even mentioning the old testament read your bible people.

Jesus isn't dead. He is alive and in heaven. Jesus and Elijah didn't taste death but was taken up by God Himself.
