What happens if you ingest a small amount of benzoyl peroxide?
I put some on my face last night and forgot to take most of it off this morning. Then I ate breakfast and lunch and I'm concerned I may have ingested some. Please help =[

If it ingesting it were serious, I doubt it would be allowed to be put on people's faces. First of all acne medication is under 10% benzoyl peroxide, so while maybe 100% could be harmful (but I doubt it'd be that bad, even then), the concentration is very mild and controlled. I've accidentally gotten some into my mouth too, lots of times, and as far as I know I'm fine. :)

Nothing, I do it all the time. LOL. If you swallow alot you might get a runny stomach but nothing to worry about.
