due tomorrow but no signs of progress?

due tomorrow, and baby is still posterior, not engaged and have no signs of labour! anyone been through this?

Update:

i understand that babies are often late, but my concern is that she is not engaged or facing the right way.

we are walking, having sex, enjoying the sunshine and i am relaxing as much as i can. i have had pregnancy massage, reflexology and acupuncture to help and nothing has done anything am concerned that i will go very overdue and need inducing which is obviously something i'd like to avoid if possible...

My friend who was due the same day as me (May 12th) kept saying how lucky I was that my baby was engaged as hers wasnt (wasnt even close) anyway I woke up this morning to get a text from her saying she had her baby during the night!! 3 weeks early, 7lb 13oz, so it shows that even if you not engaged, things can still happen. I too hope I dont have to be induced but if you do just think that very VERY soon you get to meet you lovely wee bundle whatever way she enters the world. :)

many, many women have been through this. A study done found that the average length of a pregnancy was about 40 weeks + 8 days for first time mothers, and 40 weeks + 3 days for mothers having their second, or subsequent babies. So on average they are generally later than the estimated 40 weeks. so i wouldn't be worried about it.

Sometimes the baby tends to stay in longer than it needs to. Don't worry if after a couple of days and you still haven't went into labor. Your doctor will induce you into labor to avoid the baby getting to big for delivery .

properly you need to save doing the two :) plus it may be the final time you men get to for awhile. Semen is the main element that motives contractions, so permit him..um.. yeah. in case you dont have faith me right this is a internet site so which you will study!

  • Sometimes they aren't ready by their due date but I think its head should! be engaged so I think you should go to hospitial and have them check mabye your baby is just too small at the moment and needs a few more days/weeks.

Good luck, all the best Congratulations
