YESSSS! It's the land of half-siblings and step-siblings. And the writers love to use that as an excuse for someone to date their half-sibling's half-sibling or to date their step-sibling. It's still gross. Too many people are related in Port Charles. I wish they'd just bring in a group of completely new people with no relation or connection to anyone else currently on the show.

That's just a soap thing. I will admit that GH has it very apparent but it is very common because couples never stay together so people are constantly having kids in their various relationships and hook ups. Since soaps are self sufficent they have to have constant pro-creation and the introduction of new characters who "move" to town. Then those characters have to some how connect to the pre-existing characters which is where half siblings come in. If they were full siblings then they most likely would have grown up together but with half siblings there is the possibility (especially with different mothers) that each of the kids' parent took them away from the parent they had in common and they never knew about each other until one of them needed a kidney!! LOL
