A Question about Marriage?
I am wondering if anyone out there can help me.
I am an English female who is engage to a female to male transsexual man, he has his Gender Recognition Certificate and we are currently planning our registry office wedding.
My family is catholic, they are very open minded and accepting of our relationship, but they would like it for us to get a catholic priest to bless the union.
Does anyone out there know if this would be possible as I am not sure.

First, congrats on the wedding!
My guess is that, officially this kind of union would not be recognized by the Church. However, it's still worth talking with a couple of priests to find out what they say. Since your family is asking you to do this, and I'm guessing that it's more important to them than it is to you, maybe one of them would be willing to talk to their priest, or perhaps they know another person within the church that could offer you guidance, like a nun or a lay person who works closely with the church.
If that doesn't work, maybe there is a religious order or ministry that works with LGBTs that can offer you the blessing or help you find what you're looking for.

My niece has also transitioned to a male appearance and persona and self-identifies as male with legal documentation, so I have looked into this. Your finance is genetically female. No matter what surgeries have been done, no matter how many hormones your fiance takes, no matter what legal documents your fiance has acquired, no matter how your fiance self-identifies, your fiance is still a genetically female human being.
It is not possible for two women to enter into Holy Matrimony, which requires one (genetic) male and one (genetic) female who are capable of sexual intercourse and willing to conceive children. So you're not going to get a blessing for this union.

You are going to have to ask the priest about that one, but I'm betting it's a big no.
Can you video it when you ask and post it on YouTube? I just want to see you explain that one to him.
