21 weeks pregnant and really scared?!?

Hey everyone last year I lost a baby. I was 27+ weeks with a little boy, I hadn't felt him move for a few days and went to the hospital and they told me the baby had died and i was induced and gave birth the next day. They told me he had died due to the umbilical cord being twisted up and the blood clotting.

I am now 21 weeks pregnant with another little boy and I am terrified! The pregnancy so far is going great and I feel him move everyday now but i still can't help but worry. They doctors told me it shouldn't happen again but the don't know 100% as it was my first pregnancy so they are keeping a closer eye on me..

Has anyone else lost a baby like this and gone onto having a healthy baby?

What can i do to help me calm down? i know worrying won't being helping my baby.

Thank you xxx

It is only natural you will worry after such a traumatic time last year . However the more calm you can be the better for the unborm baby . Sounds like the hospital are keeping a very close eye on you so if they spot the least little concern they will take action . I wish you well for the next three months and I am sure all will be fine

Thats horrible! I'm 21 weeks and been worrying about the same thing. Thats my main big worry is it dying. i won't care if it has anything wrong with it (deformities, cerebal palsey), i will love it regardless. I just don't want it to die on me. I done fell inlove with it.

hi ,do what the physician instructed you yet attempt to not difficulty too plenty ,you probably did not point out any soreness so threat is its not something extra advantageous than slightly discharge ...you will have a bladder an infection too that ought to make you pee extra ...merely relax and wait to ascertain the physician ..
