Vanilla bean is a wonderful flavoring ... much richer than vanilla extracts. You can probably buy whole vanilla beans at the grocery. Try looking on allrecipes.com or mixingbowl.com for a recipe. If you don't find one, search on either of those sites for how to use vanilla bean, and use that method instead of the vanilla extract that's called for in the recipe. I'll bet you'll come close to it!
