how can i tell if an intruder has been in my house?

Put something small in the door(s) about the lower hing when you leave (a pc of paper, paper clip). If someone does come in they most likely will not see it fall from the lower hing and will not replace it.

The best is to set up a video camera and hide it to see if and who comes in. You can use a VCR and set it for the longest record you can to get the most out of a tape (if you have a VCR). This will give you much more recording time them the Camera will. Some VCR's up to 8-10 hours.

An intruder usually enters a house to take things that are of value. These are then sold on for

him/her to make a profit. You will know if you have had an intruder because something valuable

has been taken.

i guess if something seems out of place like a shirt,makeup,...etc. or if somethings open that you know you closed.and some times by the smell like if it smells different then it normally does(smoke,bacon....).you can mostly tell if someone was in your house better if you don live with someone.if you do live with someone then its best to ask the person if you see something different about your house.most of all if something is missing!!!! bascically check around the house for anything unusal.hope that helps!

Broken window, open door, STUFF MISSING, if have a clean house looks like a mess. bucket of feathers and tar over the door that falls on intruder.
