OK.,i live in the UK in Bedfordshire. Today was a nice day and i sat outside in the back

garden Till around 9.40pm .As i looked up at the evening sky i saw a red glowing object

pass over my house travelling from east to north west,what got my attention was that

it had no flashing lights like a plane has. About 10 mins later i spotted another one

coming over so i went and got my binoculars and stood out in the back garden.

As i focused in on it i could see no flashing lights, just the red glow and it was not

the shape of a normal aeroplane. Between 9.40 - 10.45 pm there were 4 of these

objects pass over and they made no noise as they passed. Weird or what.

2008 Cooper S has covered 17,780 miles and has had its oil changed only once by the dealer.

Next oil change is at 20 k. Have been told by the dealership that the oil will last 10,000 miles

between services. I checked the colour of the oil just before it was due its first oil change and

it was black and sticky. Surely this can`t be right. I change the oil on my car every 5-6k and

it is discoloured but not black and sticky. BMW Dealers say that they use a special long life

oil which extends the need to do regular oil changes but i find that 10,000 miles is a long time

for any engine to go between oil changes.Surely it must cause some internal damage due to

breakdown of its lubricating properties over a 10,000 mile period of use.

I have had a bad cold or whatever it is for over a week now and it has kept me awake since i

got it. I manage to get about 2-3 hours sleep per day but the coughing wakes me up. I now go

to bed at around 4am so that the wife can get some sleep before i join her and start coughing

again and wake her up.She say`s she never hears me coughing but i know different. During one

early morning coughing fit i managed to make myself partially deaf in my right ear and now i am

getting worried.I can still hear from it but its a muffled sound.I could go to a doctor but as you know

there is no cure for the common cold or flu virus. Any ideas, Thanks.

Wife's laptop screen has fingerprint marks all over it.I told her not to touch the screen but she

never listens to me.What can i use to clean it without causing scratch marks and scuffing.

Has anyone noticed some small raised lines on the bottom of certain

key buttons on their computer.On mine its the F and J buttons and the

No 5 on the right hand side of the keyboard,none of the other keys

have them, is there a reason for this, just wondering.

(uk only).found one of these in my garden.It was the best part of

2 feet long.Its been here for 5 days.What i want to know is

can it harm my cat as she likes being out in the garden.

It has vanished for now but it may return.

Bought this computer just before christmas 2007 to replace

my old ibm thinkcentre which died on me.My problem is that it

freezes sometimes and i can`t do anything but shut down and re-start again.I have upgraded the memory from 512mb to

1024 mb but it still locks up on me .Its an intermittent fault and only happens occasionally.Its running windows vista home basic with a 3.0 ghz pentium d processor.I have all the protection ie anti virus, anti spyware,firewall,windows defender,and other things.

Getting really fed up with it and might put my old hard drive in

with xp on it if i can`t resolve the problem.

Any thoughts peeps.

I have an ancient ibm thinkcentre which is 7 yrs old and will be 8

in january 2008.It has had a few mods done to it but still uses the

original motherboard and has only broken down twice in 7 years

of ownership.
