I saw Obama stand in the rain and discuss the help that was being given to Tennessee on live TV.

You need a better news provider.

I dunno... do you have trouble sleeping at night without having the President coo you and tell you that everything will be alright? I personally don't care if a statement is made talking about how horrible it is and how God should bless America.. I'd imagine the people there don't particularly care either.. the most important thing is action to help them, which is being taken

it happened while you were asleep.

FEMA officials said they've already conducted 650 inspections on flood damaged structures.

About $4 million has been approved for individuals recovering from last weekend's floods.

Statements are boring. Actions are important.

A true action would be to cut the military funding, stop waging wars and bring the revenue/monies/tax proceeds to be used here! Offer needed services to the country and its people.

It's lengthy, but informative, and if you spent less time watching clusterfaux tv, would would NOT have to ask this embarrassing question.

  • What do you want him to say? That it was devastating? That it was horrible? That he is sorry that so many lost everything?

Why do people "need" the President to come out and state the obvious??

I recommend not parroting false talking points.

You mean like declaring it a federal disaster area, like he already did?
