Why do people say Obama is a total failure?

I only see 4 things that Obama has failed on.

1) Economy

2) Bringing back the troops

3) National debt

4) Healthcare reform.

There's some who think the Healthcare reform might help. So why are people bashing him? He's trying.

He's using policies that have failed before and is increasing the size of the government. He also failed on national security, keeping his promises, being bipartisan, and has shown himself to be a racist.

-these are, oh, i dont know, only like HIS BIGGEST RESPONSIBILITIES!!! you act like these are little things when they are a big deal. Obama spent more $$$ in his first 10 days in office than Bush did in his whole presidency.

    Doug,

1...We are not in recovery. Unemployment is higher now. Recovering is the opposite.

2... Troop pull out is not on schedule. Obama has changed the time frame from his campaign promise

3...Healthcare reform that passed will likely fail. Just ask any healthcare professional.

4...National debt is rising. That is the truth.

I can't imagine why. He despises this country, so he's certainly accomplishing everything he's setting out to do: bankrupting the country, destroying health care, fudging up the economy, taking over private businesses, severely weakening the country's defenses. The only major thing he has failed to do so far is eliminating freedom of speech via the internet and radio, though you certainly hear him mention it often enough that he must be working diligently and deviously on it.

He's getting exactly what HE wants, so everything is pretty much going peachy for him.

Criticizing the president is an American Tradition.

Right now, these are pretty volatile times, so, it makes his every move more of a target. He doesn't seem to care about playing it safe, so he opens himself up to controversy.

    1) At the time of Obama's swearing in, economists were predicting a long recession extending through 2011. We're now well into a recovery.

    2) The troops draw-down in Iraq is on schedule. Obama made it clear that he was going to reduce our commitment in Iraq so we could focus on Afghanistan. There was never a blanket "bring them all home" promise.

    3) The health care reform law will cut the deficit by 2 trillion dollars over the next twenty years. More cuts are coming.

    4) Presidents since Teddy Roosevelt have tried and failed to pass significant health care reform. Obama did it in just about a year. The law is strong, makes much needed changes, and pays for itself.

None of the things you mention are failures.

But what is he trying? To help the country or hurt it?

From a purely objective standpoint, it'd be hard for anybody to say it's to help it..

He's failed in EVERY area of presidential responsibility.

To add a few more failures to your list..

    5) Diplomacy

    6) National Security

    7) Immigration

    8) National Unity

People who don't understand his goals say he's failing.

    > He promised policy HE SAID would wreck the economy.

    > He pledged support of our military enemy.

    > He personally demanded the fastest possible ESCALATION of the National Debt.

    > He pledged bureaucratic health CONTROL designed for the benefit of the government.

    He's batting 1.000

I would not say that he is a total failure; he is most likely a good father. As far as his presidency we will let the facts speak for themselves.

If there ever were a president more deserving of a bashing, it would be him, Mr. B.O.

I guess you can include Mr. J. Carter at a close 2nd.
