Smelly feet - can anyone help?

My husband wears safety boots all day at work and by the time he gets home his feet stink like rotting cheese.

He has tried washing them, even used Dettol and Savlon in the bath/ shower, talc powder, athletes foot powder, yet even when he has washed them the smell comes back after a couple of hours.

Does anyone have any suggestions as to what might help to get rid of the smell as my kids and I will soon have to wear pegs on our noses in the house

Thank you

His feet probably sweat real bad and if he wears dark colored socks that will make it worse. His boots are probably no good with the smell now so he should soak his feet real good in warm soapy water. Dry them off real good. Wear white socks and buy new boots. Before he puts the socks on make sure his feet are dry and put some cornstarch on his feet. This will help with the sweating and also he can put some in the boots.

Make him take his boots and socks off and wash his feet an let them air out when he gets home from work so his feet will get better. He should change his socks more often if his feet still sweat and white socks are a must cause dark colors harbor more bacteria that make the feet stink. My son use to have the same problem until he changed a few things that I told him would help. No more stinky feet.I know how bad that smell can be. Good luck!

Does he wear the boots with or without socks?

He should wear thick socks with them (So his feet dont chafe on the boots)

Wearing no socks will just cause his feet to work up a sweat.

Maybe you can purchase some foot odour power, and sprinkle that into his boots every morning aswell.

the priority starts with wearing shoes without socks. The shoes desire to be discarded. Then get a sparkling pair and placed on peds with them (skinny nylon sock that covers a minimum quantity of the foot and doesn't practice) i purchase my daughters peds at Nordstrom, yet they promote them different places. some are too great, and practice with ballet apartments so attempt them on. that is fairly disgusting to have pungent feet, I actual have experienced those who might want to scent up a room. If she has extremely sweaty feet she will use particular Dry antiperspirant on the bottom of her feet at evening to help cut back it.
