    No where.

“Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost” (Matthew 28:19).

This verse is the foundation of trinity teaching. It would appear to refer to God as consisting of three persons, Father, Son, and Holy Ghost. So let’s look at the command and how it was obeyed.

“Then Peter said unto them, Repent, and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost” (Acts 2:38).

It would seem, at first glance, that Peter misunderstood what Jesus told the disciples to do. But, look at Jesus’ command to baptize. He said to baptize in a name (singular). So what is the name of the Father, and the Holy Ghost? (We already know that the name of the Son is Jesus).

"For unto us a child is born, unto us a son is given: and the government shall be upon his shoulder: and his name shall be called Wonderful, Counsellor, The mighty God, the everlasting Father, The Prince of Peace” (Isaiah 9:6).

“I am come in my Father’s name, and ye receive me not” (John 5:43).

“Philip saith unto him, Lord, shew us the Father, and it sufficeth us. Jesus saith unto him, Have I been so long time with you , and yet hast thou not known me, Philip? he that hath seen me hath seen the father; and how sayest thou then, Shew us the Father? (John 14:8,9).

Since Jehovah is one of the Father’s names, and Jesus came in that name (Jehovah is salvation), the Father’s name must be Jesus. Since Isaiah said that the Son who would be given, would be called “The everlasting Father”, Jesus must be the Father, for surely He is the Son that was given. Jesus told Philip that He was the Father. We can easily determine that the name of the Father is Jesus. But, what is the name of the Holy Ghost?

"Even the Spirit of truth; whom the world cannot receive, because it seeth him not, neither knoweth him: but ye know him; for he dwelleth with you, and shall be in you. I will not leave you comfortless: I will come to you” (John 14:17,18).

“But ye are not in the flesh, but in the Spirit, if so be that the Spirit of God dwell in you. Now if any man have not the Spirit of Christ, he is none of his” (Romans 8:9).

“Now the Lord is that Spirit; and where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is liberty” (II Corinthians 3:17).

“To whom God would make known what is the riches of the glory of this mystery among the Gentiles; which is Christ in you, the hope of glory” (Colossians 1:27).

“Searching what, or what manner of time the Spirit of Christ which was in them did signify, when it testified beforehand the sufferings of Christ, and the glory that should follow” (I Peter 1:11).

Can there be any doubt that the Spirit that dwells in us, which we call the Holy Ghost, is Jesus? He said He would come to us. It says it is Christ in us. Jesus is that Spirit. In II Peter 1:21,22 it says that the Old Testament writers were moved by the Holy Ghost, yet, the Bible says that it was the Spirit of Christ. So, we know that the name of the Holy Ghost is Jesus.

All the fullness of the Godhead is in Jesus (Col. 2:9). One God, manifested in three offices. He was the Father in creation, the Son in redemption, and the Holy Ghost in habitation.

    Not any where!

    "Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost:" {Matthew 28:19}

Now here is the scripture that so many people argue over. There are a few reasons why a person can't see the Oneness in this scripture:

    (a) They do not have the Holy Ghost and the revelation of scriptures.

(b)They haven't read the rest of the Bible.

    (c) They don't understand the English Grammar.

You can combat those things by reading these scriptures:

(a)John 14:26 Says that the Holy Ghost will teach you all things. Matthew 5:6 Says that they that hunger and thirst after righteousness shall be filled. In Matthew 13:11, the disciples asked Jesus why was he speaking in parables to the other people. And He told them that they could not understand the mysteries like the disciples could. They had the revelation.

    (b) 2 Timothy 3:16 says that "All scripture is...for instruction in righteousness:".

    (c) Do you remember talking about singular and plural nouns when you were in school? Well, in Matthew 28:19 "name" is singular. "Names" would be plural. That means that name, being singular, means that it is... single...One! Next, take the very scripture, Matthew 28:19, and put it in a diagram. Do you know what the subject is? Just do a simple English diagram and prove to yourself the Trinity...if you can.

The LORD'S disciples were sent to the house of Israel baptizing them in the name of the Father Son and Holy Spirit Matthew 28: 19 and Acts 2 38-39

Read both of these and then ask if Peter was obedient, or if perhaps not as critical as many make it out to be, either with all or just one name.

I do not read in the Acts of the Apostles of the LORD baptizing in all three tittles; Father Son and Holy Spirit. If anyone does, let me know, ok

MOST IN NEW TESTAMENT JUST HAD TO ADD THE SON:

All knew from Genesis in the Old Testament which was in the

temple, as did Jesus, Luke 4:18, "the Spirit of the LORD, "

or the Father and the Holy Spirit, but all had to be taught or

learn about the son, most just needed to add the son to what

they already knew, Matt.28:18-20, is for those who must learn

    it all, from those who know, from Pentecost, Acts 2:1-4;

    Acts 11:26.

No place, never. Every single recorded Christian baptism in the New Testament was performed only in the name of Jesus. This is what Jesus intended when He said to baptize in the NAME of the Father, Son and Holy Ghost. He never intended for those titles to be repeated, and the apostles understood that.

Baptism in Jesus' name is seen in Acts chapters 2, 8, 10, 19 and 22. See also Acts 4:12 and Col. 2:9.

it truly is no longer suitable. The call of Jesus is synonymous with the call of the daddy and the Son and the Holy Spirit. Trinitarians can baptize people interior the call of the daddy and the Son and the Holy Spirit in the event that they desire. understand that the only difference between Oneness and Trinity is that we clarify God in any different case.

The baptisms recorded in the book of Acts took place before Matthew 28:19 was ever written.

Question: if you were one of the devout Jews present on the day of Pentecost, hearing the gospel message for the first time, and were commanded to "Repent, and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost," in what name would you think that you should be baptized? What is the plain meaning of the text? :-)

    NOWHERE !!!!

When Philip preached the gospel in Samaria, those who believed "were baptized in the name of the Lord Jesus (Acts 8:16).

When a group of Gentiles received the Holy Spirit, Peter asked, "Can any man forbid water, that these should not be baptized, which have received the Holy Ghost as well as we? And he commanded them to be baptized in the name of the Lord" (Acts 10:47-48). As we have just seen, the name of the Lord is Jesus. Moreover, as translations such as the Amplified Bible and the New International Version indicate, the oldest Greek manuscripts we now have actually state here, "in the name of Jesus Christ."

Paul rebaptized the disciples of John at Ephesus in the name of Jesus. "He said unto them, Unto what then were ye baptized? And they said, Unto John's baptism. Then said Paul, John verily baptized with the baptism of repentance, saying unto the people, that they should believe on him which should come after him, that is on Christ Jesus. When they heard this, they were baptized in the name of the Lord Jesus" (Acts 19:3-5).

    ABSOLUTELY NO WHERE !!!!

    The Scriptural Record

Every time the Bible records the name or formula associated with an actual baptism in the New Testament church, it describes the name Jesus. All five such accounts occur in the Book of Acts, the history book of the early church. It records that the following people were baptized in Jesus' name:

The Jews, "Then Peter said unto them, Repent, and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost" (Acts 2:38).

The Samaritans, "They were baptized in the name of the Lord Jesus' (Acts 8:16).

The Gentiles, "And he commanded them to be baptized in the name of the Lord" (Acts 10:48). (The earliest Greek manuscripts that we have say, "In the name of Jesus Christ," as do most versions today.)

The disciples of John (re-baptized), "They were baptized in the name of the Lord Jesus" (Acts 19:5).

The Apostle Paul, "Arise, and be baptized, and wash away thy sins, calling on the name of the Lord" (Acts 22:16).

Moreover, the Epistles contain a number of references or allusions to baptism in Jesus' name. [See Romans 6:3-4; I Corinthians 1:13; 6:11; Galatians 3:27 ; Colossians 2:12; James 2:7]

The name Jesus was ALWAYS called over whoever who was being baptized.

    Acts 4:12

Neither is there salvation in any other: for there is none other NAME under heaven given among men, whereby we must be saved.
