Too many cats in my garden?!?
I have a neuteured 13 year old tomcat. Recently we've had a cute little female cat coming in and 'talking' to him, now we have an unneuteured male cat hanging around and ANOTHER male (not sure if he's snipped) also hanging around. She is making yowling noises and is only interested in my cat, who ignores her. The other two males aren't interested in her but only in my cat and occasionally there are a few scraps. Is she in season? If so, should I do anything? Why are the other males ignoring her and interested in my cat? Thanks!
Haha it is a GREAT soap opera
@Christie hahaha I think I might just be a crazy cat lady!!!

is your question "how to keep stray cats out of my garden" or is it "is she in heat" or is it about why the tom cats are ignoring the stray female in favor of your pet tom?

In the same situation here! she's probably in season and the other male cats are attracted to her. If your cat is snipped then he wouldn't be interested in her. My two male cats aren't interested in the female cat that comes on my garden. The other cats attacked her, but i don't know why. She could be injured, that's why she's making the yowling noises.

it does sound as if she is in season the other toms will mate with her, and she will more than likely have her kittens in your garden, if u could trap her and get her fixed a lot of places will do this for nothing you would have to search the internet for a place near you, this would be a good option the tom cats would then dissapear and leave your tom to get on with his life with out him having to fight for his terriotory if the little girl cat is ok with yours you could keep her as company for you and your tom. hope this helps
