What Rifled Shotguns on the Market are most accurate these days?

Im looking to get a new rifled slug gun, but not sure what to get. I personaly think some brands like Remington are being cheapened up to much. I think their quality is going down hill in some areas. I did like their older wingmasters though and have thought about looking for a used one and getting a hastings barrel for it. I kind of like the looks of the Savage bolt action slug guns, especially thier new 220 model in 20 gauge.. I seem to get mixed reviews on all the brands i look at though. Please only answer if you are experience with rifled slug guns. Ifyou are experienced, tell me what type of groups you got at what yardages and what ammo? Il pretty much know if its a bogun answer, so be real.Im not looking for a single shot like the H&R although I hear good things. PUMP,Bolt Action. or Semi-Auto is what i will consider. You do loose some power with a Semi-Auto though.

thanks

I was going to suggest the Savage but I all ready see it's on your radar. Good gun and very accurate. I like the one in 12 ga but that in 20 ga would be good also. The Winchester ballistic tip sabots are the bomb. Oh, I don't have that gun but my dad does.

I have a scoped Mossy 500, it's pretty decent but for a dedicated slug gun it doesn't hold a candle to the Savage.

I have a Mossberg 835 that I purchased a rifled barrel with a canteleivered scope mount for. I use Remington hollowpoint sabot slugs and can shoot 3-4" groups at 150 yards with an inexpensive scope. At 100 yards I have shot all 5 slugs into the box that they were packaged in.(didn't have a paper target handy). It could have been the shooter, but I consistently outshot my buddy who uses a benneli with a rifled barrel.

OK, ifyou knew so much that you knew when people are bluffing, then you would know that pretty much every slug gun is more accurate than the operator, and you are typically going to be within 100 yards or so, a little more with good sabots.

I prefer pump actions, i dont know of any current production bolt guns, and the loss of power is close to negligable.
