2000 Nissan pickup it is a good truck but this Morning I went out and the heater dial is reading that it is?

really hot but the engine is not hot it is normal the antifreeze is full and we flushed the Radiator last summer got any ideas

    if the thermostat is stuck, the coolant would be cool and the engine HOT

    check again

    Could be a messed up heat sensor or the gage may be broke or the coolant is not circulating for some reason causing the overheat reading

    most likely the temp. sensor in the engine block or the dash gauge bad.
