Do you agree with this about yahoo answers?

You do understand that wikipedia is one of the easiest sites to hack into and change information on don't you? They know this and they never say this but they are constantly having to go back and forth and change information after people hack into it and mess things up. They also rely on information from users as input...so how does that differ from Y!A? They don't do any research...they get their information for users. You can send in photos or any information that you have and generally they will post it as "update". I've honesty seen some really stupid shyt on wiki that I knew wasn't true but they still posted it.

On the other hand I also know that there are a lot of fruitcakes that sit back and try so hard to stir up controversy on Y!A. They are trolls and clones and losers in life and have nothing better to do then to try to sit back and try to discredit the site. Most of them are immature teenagers but you also have some highly educated people who are probably mentally handicapped and or just miserable SOB's and have nothing better to do then to make the site look bad. There are a lot of people who use the site correctly and do try to give informative answers but all of us who come here on a fairly regular basis know one another in one way or another so it does become somewhat of a social site also.

I would like to know exactly whom these researchers were, exactly who they used as subjects in their study, how long they studied these subjects and how they got their information and drew their conclusions? I need facts....wikipedia needs to up the facts....not just speal out a bunch of words with nothing behind them. I want names of organizations of whom, what, where and when and how. Wiki lies and everyone knows it. Y!A Rocks!!!!

I agree that people ask questions that they can googgle and are lazy but I dont agree with that statement because people also ask for help or just ask questions they want answers to that they cant look up.

ya it does seem to be a mix of net working with answers. this room is being harassed by bigots

the religion group is harassed by atheists. they come just to troll and bother .

if they removed the point system i think you would see less networking

That was true from just after 1 minute after YA went online... I have been on YA since just days after it started and it was, and remains, mostly meaningless garbage.... yet still... some honest seekers still log on.......but quickly leave when they see the cess-pool that YA really is....... when I see an honest seeker(and there are fewer and fewer of them, I offer them an alternative to receive an honest reply

it's true. whenever i try to answer a question most of the responses are from losers trying to be funny to get thumbs ups. not many people try anymore.
