Do you often question yourself in airports what if a terrorist was to come into the plane without anyone noticing? If a person is caring a bomb in their luggage or even their shoes and the security checks do not catch them when will they be able to recognize the airport securities mistakes, when they are in the plane and they are under the risk of dying. do people think they are safe but truly how safe are they? The people will see the consequences they have when they are not safe enough in airports.

There is a new system that scans the person head to toe with an x-ray. It is called a Backscatter. It reflects x-rays into the body it displays the scan in to a monitor and the officer can see if the person is caring something in to the plain that they are not supposed to. This could eventually lead to cancer in neck and head if directed used a number of times, especially if small children are exposed to it to often. There is controversy about the fact that the security will be looking at you and you that they feel violated because of the scans but the monitors where the images are transmitted is in a secure room. The officer that views the image never sees the passenger.

The officer that assists the passenger never sees the images. The images can’t be saved, and the officers are not allowed to take any device that can take a picture or video the secured room. Another device is called the millimeter Wave it is a harmless device that sends waves to the body creating a 3- D image send to the officer in another room. The risk that you get cancer are slim because you are only being exposed to the x- rays are lower than the cosmic rays that you get when you are 30,000 feet in the sky
