dry clean Only or not?
what would happen if I washed a Dry Clean Only pair of pants in a washing machine on gentle cycle

I have washed dry clean only clothing in the washer on gentle cycle in cold water and then hung them up to dry. It works but sometimes they get rather wrinkled doing it that way. I guess it depends on the fabric. So, if you have an iron handy then it should be ok. I would really recommend using cold water and not putting them in the dryer so they don't shrink.
