My daughter is wanting to get a kayak, someone told her that it has to be registered(numbers on the front, DNR sticker etc) I went to the Michigan DNR site, and one page says "Privately owned kayaks DO Not have to be registered" however another page of the same book says " Non-Motorized canoes and kayaks have to pay $5 registration fee and have a number except under section 80123" but no where can I find section 80123

I live in Michigan,and I took my mom in to renew her drivers license last week. My mom has a thyroid problem and is very obese. The lady at the DMV refused to renew her license stating: You are Too fat to drive. My mom drives a minivan and has never had an accident.

Can they refuse a license on the basis of weight and is that even the call of the counter person. Shouldn't my mom have a hearing or something to decide this? They did ask her to step on a scale, just made the statement.

I have four kids aged 19 through 10. I went to wrap presents today and one of the presents is missing. I believe one of the children took it and will not admit it.
