Am I allowed to celebrate Victoria Day in the USA?

I'm jealous that Canadians get to celebrate Victoria Day. Can I start Victoria day as an American holiday and go to a Victoria Day party tonight in the states?

What are Canadians saying about my American interests in celebrating Victoria Day with a hamburger and fries with ketchup and having fireworks and putting an American spin on Victoria Day.

Except to honor Canada's holiday, we are going to sing a DIFFERENT America song today....that goes by Canadian Band "The Guess Who" - "American Woman.....step away from meeee...American Woman"

What do Canadians think about this?

LOL :-D you may attempt via using commencing up small -- invite quite a few your friends over for a Victoria Day party! Do you even understand who Queen Victoria grew to become and why Canadians have exciting her birthday? (i'm particular some fellow Canadians don't understand the respond the two!). This Canadian thinks, "whilst you're happy with the belief and you're actual no longer hurting each and every physique via using it, bypass forward and do it!"

First of all, Eric you must be a Canadian. Americans have no idea that today is Victoria day or any other holiday. Case in point, It is a holiday in Europe today also, and you have no idea what holiday it is.

How could anyone stop you from celebrating any day you please? In fact, you could almost put together a full year of holiday celebrations from various countries around the globe. Now wouldn't that be an interesting project?

Jeez, Eric. Homeland Security. Patriot Act. You might be in for a one-way trip to Guantanamo.

I think the Homeland Security folks should pay you a visit, and probably bring along a psych team as well....

Indeed you can. But then are you going to celebrate Memorial Day too?
